Loan portfolio overview – June 2020

As we mentioned in our May update, we have been seeing a steady increase in loan demand and this resulted in strong sales volumes in June, as our investors financed €7,6M worth of loans, which puts us firmly on track to get back to pre-crisis levels soon.

Besides this healthy loan demand, the repayment of loans was also exceptionally high. Borrowers paid back 35 loans in the amount of €7,5M. In June, the average return on repaid loans was 11,1%. EstateGuru’s investors have earned a total amount of €16,0M since 2014. No capital (principal) loss has occurred.

The value of defaulted loans remained below €5,5M. We recovered several loans (partial repayments) in Latvia and one loan in Estonia (€0,4M). One loan in each of Estonia and Latvia went into default (total €0,5M).

We have seen even more positive signs from both the investor and the borrower side. Consequently, July and August should be very successful for EstateGuru’s platform.

We will keep you informed about the credit portfolio quality on a monthly basis.
